- Piney Creek Thermal Host: The CCEDC looks for ways to help companies make a profit on their waste. Currently, our staff is working to find a synergistic relationship for Piney Creek, who produces waste heat during electricity production. Our search will eventually end with another business who can benefit from Piney’s excess heat while helping to boost the electricity producer’s bottom line.
- Clarion Bathware: This company has expressed an interest in cooperating with other local and regional businesses to provide backhaul opportunities from multiple locations, especially east of the Mississippi. Dave Groner, President, is confident that he can offer reduced shipping rates over traditional carriers, as his rates need only reflect inbound, rather than round-trip mileage.
